Terms, Privacy & Disclosures

1. Educational use only — not professional advice
GSS Benefits & Money Optimizer, GSS Financial IQ, and the GSS AI Money Coach provide general educational information only. Nothing in the app is tax, legal, accounting, insurance, investment, or financial-planning advice, and no fiduciary, advisory, or client relationship is created. GSS is not a CPA firm, law firm, registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or insurance agency. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making financial, tax, insurance, or legal decisions.
2. No guarantees; estimates only
All figures — including available cash, tax reserves, and scenarios — are estimates calculated from information you enter. They are not verified balances or actual tax liabilities. We do not guarantee tax savings, deductions, refunds, compliance, investment returns, insurance approval, or any financial outcome. Information may be incomplete or out of date; laws and rules change.
3. AI features and AI agents
- Some features use artificial intelligence (AI) models and automated agents to generate explanations, checklists, and summaries.
- AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify important information with official sources and a qualified professional.
- AI does not change your saved numbers or formulas; calculations use documented, tested functions.
- AI will decline requests for personalized regulated advice, such as specific investment, insurance-policy, or tax-filing recommendations.
- To answer your questions, the content you submit may be processed by third-party AI providers under confidentiality terms. We do not allow your data to be used to train public AI models where we can control that setting.
- Do not enter Social Security numbers, account passwords, or full account numbers into AI chat.
4. Your account and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 and a U.S. resident to use the service. Provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and do not misuse the service (e.g. reverse-engineering, scraping, uploading malicious files, or attempting to access other users' data). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Information we collect
- Account data: email, name, and sign-in details.
- Optional profile data: user type, industry, income range, state, and goals.
- Financial entries you add or import: income, expenses, obligations, and goals.
- AI questions and responses, if you use AI features.
- Basic technical data: device, browser, and usage events used to operate and improve the service.
6. How we use and share information
We use your information to provide and secure the service, respond to support requests, and improve features using aggregated, de-identified analytics. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, authentication, AI processing, email, and payments), when required by law, or with your explicit consent — for example, if you request a professional review.
7. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on managed infrastructure with access rules limiting each record to its owner. We do not store payment card details. No system is perfectly secure. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of an account-deletion request, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
You can view, edit, and delete your entries at any time, and export them as CSV. You may request a copy of your data, correction, or account deletion by emailing keith@gilbertservicessouthwest.com. Depending on your state (for example California), you may have additional privacy rights; we honor such requests and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
9. Consents
- By creating an account, you agree to these Terms and this Privacy Policy and acknowledge the educational disclaimers above.
- By using AI features, you consent to your submitted content being processed by AI providers as described in Section 3.
- Saving AI conversation summaries, marketing emails, and sharing information with a professional reviewer each require your separate opt-in, which you can withdraw at any time.
10. Third-party links and resources
Links to IRS.gov and other outside resources are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
11. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GSS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
